CS_Art_blog_2017.jpg

This is the theme of an online CPD & networking session on Thursday 26th November 2020, 4-5.30pm, run by the Wiltshire & Swindon Cultural Education Partnership (W&SCEP).

We are inviting any teachers and cultural practitioners in Wiltshire and Swindon to join us for this twilight, which will involve:

  • Hearing from some of the Open Fund schools who have completed their projects; sharing key learning, inspirations and impact, particularly around wellbeing for their students and staff.

  • Insights and ideas for developing Arts Leaders and the pupil's voice in school, from W&SCEP Cultural Champion, Carole Andrews, Head of Artsmark Platinum school Horningsham Primary.

  • Introductions to some of the arts and cultural organisations in the area who can help to support delivery in your setting, during this socially distanced time and beyond.

  • Optional networking time with these organisations and other schools for the last half an hour.

There will also be the chance to add your comments, ideas and requests for cultural learning in your setting, and to help build the discussion and action of how this can support the wellbeing of school communities in challenging times.
